The Stoiber Buam ( dialect for Stoiber boys ) are a family of folk musicians from the Zwiesel area in the Bavarian Forest , who are over 100 years old and who are now in the fifth generation of their musicians and who, in addition to regular live performances in regional pubs, have also gained national fame. Her songs are almost exclusively her own compositions. They also appeared in three episodes of the TV series Forsthaus Falkenau at the festivities in the "Ochsen" and the wedding of Martin and Angelika.

Fritz & Xaver Stoiber

Fritz Stoiber (1924–2013) is one of the best-known representatives of the family of musicians. At the age of five he already appeared as a harmonica player with his father in taverns, produced numerous compositions of his own and together with his brother, the trumpeter Xaver Stoiber (1921–1976) the Stoiber Buam made famous beyond the borders of his hometown Zwiesel . Together with the yodeler Franzl Lang , he toured all over Europe.
