biography

With the aim of creating an album of “national romantic music”, so the self-description; the band's only album, Nordavind , was recorded in November 1994. The songs are largely based on the melodies and texts of Norwegian folk songs , which have been reinterpreted based on stylistic elements of Nordic Black Metal and with partially modified texts. Shortly before the album was finished, Wongraven became aware of Kari Rueslåtten , who had already sung on The 3rd and the Mortal . Some of the songs were then re-recorded with her voice.

As a "hymn to Norway", the album was released in 1995 on the Moonfog Productions record label .
