The Straßberg is a 258.1 m high elevation and is located in the area of the municipality of Gerstungen in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

The name is reminiscent of a former late medieval control room. She stood at the entrance to the Kohlbach valley and had visual contact with Gerstung Castle. The medieval desert of Steinau lies on the gently sloping slope to the southeast. It is also known from the legend of the Mühlvaltenstein. Today the Straßberg is used for agriculture.
