Straight Line Stitch (SLS) is an American metalcore - band from Knoxville .
history
Straight Line Stitch was formed around 2000 and released an EP and a demo album before adding Clarksville singer Alexis Brown in 2003. Brown sang on the self-published project To Be Godlike , for which she had a video filmed for the single Remission . Director Dale Resteghini ran the production company Raging Nation Films. In 2007 he founded another label as a subsidiary of Koch Records called Raging Nation Records. Straight Line Stitch were the first to sign with this label. There the band's first album, When Skies Wash Ashore , was released in 2008 .
In 2011 they released The Fight of Our Lives . This album reached number 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and number 34 on the Top Independent Album Charts.
On July 26, 2014, during The Dog Days of Summer Tour , the band released their EP Straight Line Stitch of the same name and announced that they were working on another full album.
