Stratos Tzitzis

Stratos Tzitzis ( Greek Στράτος Τζίτζης , * in Veria ) is a Greek film director and screenwriter .

After studying economics at the Athens University of Economics , he studied directing at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos (HCTSS). After a few short films, the first feature film Η αγάπη είναι ελέφαντας (Love is an Elephant) was made in 2000 . The next film Σώσε με (Save Me) premiered at the Thessaloniki Film Festival (TIFF ) in 2001 and was voted one of the 20 best Greek films in 2014, with the leading actress Maria Zorba receiving the award for best actress. He is a founding member of the Greek Film Academy.
