The Stratton Glacier is a glacier in the East Antarctic Coatsland . It flows in the Shackleton Range from the Pointer Nunatak first to the north, then to the northwest to the north flank of Mount Weston .
It was first mapped in 1957 by participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) led by British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs . It is named after David George Stratton (1927–1972), geodesist and deputy head of the team, who crossed the Antarctic continent for the first time by land during the expedition.
