The Strawberry Cirque (English for strawberry kettle ) is a 1.5 km wide, semicircular and glaciated mountain kettle in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Miller Range, it is located at the southern end of the Macdonald Bluffs on the northern flank of the mouth of the Argo Glacier in the Marsh Glacier .
A team of geologists from Ohio State University who worked in the area between 1967 and 1968 named it after the strawberry-colored granite rock found here .
