Street Football is an Italian - French animated series that has been produced since 2006 and is about the Blues , a street football team from Maryport, a small port town. The team consists of the seven friends Tag, Eloise, Gabriel, Jeremy, Samira and the twins Tek and No. The cartoon comes from the novel La Compagnia dei Celestini by Stefano Benni.

action

In Street Football a lot of opponents from around the world meet, track all the goal is to be world champion. Each of these teams has five active players and up to two substitutes. In addition, at least one girl, but not necessarily a boy, must be on the team.

The quiet French port town of Maryport is home to the world's best street football team , the Blues . After they have already won a World Cup, the three friends Tag, Eloise and Gabriel do not want to play any more matches, but two young players make the fire in them blaze again. Jeremy and Samira are the names of the two newbies who stand in for the TekNo twins, who have switched to a real football club. With their motto "friendship, respect and solidarity", the Blues play many matches on the way to a second championship. Can you defend your title?

season 1

The Blues (in season 1: Tag, Eloise, Gabriel, Tek and No) are a team from Maryport that absolutely wants to take part in the World Cup, but they have to overcome some hurdles first.

season 2

After Tek and No left the team, the Blues wanted to turn their back on street football forever, but it comes as it has to and they form a team again. There are only three of them at the moment, but to play there must be at least five. So they hold an entrance test, which the two newcomers Jeremy, a real ball artist, and Samira pass with distinction.

A new World Cup is imminent and the Blues, like any team that wants to take part, must first qualify for it. In doing so, they repeatedly meet the mysterious Black Devils, who are run by Eloise's former best friend Victoria, or Vic for short. These are out to be the best in the qualification unconditionally and with all (unfair) means.

During their training breaks, the Blues travel all over the world and give tips to weak teams so that they too have a chance in qualifying for the World Cup.

At the end of this season it is announced that this year's World Cup will be held in the hometown of the Blues, Maryport.

season 3

The World Cup in the tranquil French port city of Maryport has started. The Blues actually managed to qualify and now have to prove their skills against many strong teams from around the world. The team are helped by the twins Tek and No, who have returned to their hometown for a certain period of time.

One day, during a short break from the tournament, the famous football idol Nicolas Anelka goes to Tunis, where the Blues are helping to found a new team with undreamt-of talents, “The Fruits of Tunisia”.

In the end there is not only some sad news (Tag is moving to his father in Argentina, Eloise is supposed to go to New York with her parents, the Tekno twins are returning to their football club in London and Gabriel is admitted to a Parisian school for the gifted) a happy ending: Victoria and Eloise make up again.

The teams

In street football, opponents from all over the world meet each other, all aiming to become world champions. Each of these teams has five active players and up to two substitutes. There is also at least one girl, but not necessarily a boy, on the team. The games are not always fair: The Dolphins from Oceania consist of the big brothers of the actual team from Kiribati and the Iroquois from Quebec from Canada cheat in the World Cup game against The Blues from Maryport and are therefore disqualified. Two teams competing in the Second World Cup are all-girl teams: The Bronx Devils from the United States and The Panthers from Soweto from South Africa. The only team consist Highland Celtics from Scotland only brothers and sister. During the second World Cup, the teams will take their ship, the Melville, on a short vacation trip to Tunisia. There the children Ali, Farid, Mehdi, Jamel and Malika founded the team The Fruits of Tunisia with the support of the Blues . The winners of the second world championship are The Blues from Maryport against The Panthers from Soweto with a narrow 3-2 win.
