The Stringfellow Glacier is a glacier on the Davis Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows north from the Detroit Plateau and joins the Wright-Piedmont Glacier immediately west of the Henson Glacier .
Aerial photos by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1955 to 1957 were used to map it. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier on September 23, 1960 after the British inventor and aviation pioneer John Stringfellow (1799-1883).
