Strip poker
Strip-Poker is a variant of the card game poker , in which the stake of one's own items of clothing is presented as a value in the sense that if the game is lost, the item of clothing used must be removed in front of all other players (English to strip - and should also make the relationship to the striptease clear). Strip poker is usually played with a 32-card skat hand, although there are also special hands with erotic illustrations for the game.
The focus here is not so much on the technique and depth of the card game of poker, but on the communal fun ( eroticism and / or glee ) that comes with undressing the loser. Therefore, such undressing games are also possible with other games of chance, e.g. B. Spin the bottle .
In May 2010, a championship in strip poker took place in Germany for the first time. Tournaments of the "1. German Strip Poker Championship ”took place in Cologne , Dresden , Berlin and Hamburg . The event was hosted by Mapa , the manufacturer of the German condom brand Billy Boy.
Computer simulations
Strip poker is also implemented as a computer game that uses static or moving (mostly female) virtual photo models to simulate other players who take off their clothes if they lose the game. The first versions of such games appeared for home computers at the time in the 1980s . Examples are Artworx Strip Poker (1982), Hollywood Poker I ( Golden Games ) and Hollywood Poker Pro ( reLINE Software ).
