Stronnictwo Narodowe ( SN ; German  National Party ) was a Polish, nationalist party; founded in October 1928, it represented the interests of the Endecja .

The main aim of the Stronnictwo Narodowe was the formation of a Catholic state of the Polish nation. The Stronnictwo Narodowe organized numerous demonstrations against the dictatorship of the Sanacja .

From October 1941 she was involved in the formation of the Polish government in exile . Your military organization in occupied Poland was the Narodowa Organizacja Wojskowa , NOW.

In 1942 a part of the party executive voted for the merger of Narodowa Organizacja Wojskowa with the Polish Home Army , which led to a break in the party and Narodowa Organizacja Wojskowa . The part that disapproved of the merger founded the Narodowe Siły Zbrojne together with the Związek Jaszczurczy (Lizard Association) .

After the Second World War , the party remained underground after an unsuccessful attempt at legalization and was opposed by the authorities of the People's Republic of Poland .

Jędrzej Giertych , the grandfather of Roman Giertych, was one of their most famous leaders in the post-war period . His father Maciej Giertych founded Stronnictwo Narodowe again in 1989.
