The Strypa ( Ukrainian Стрипа ; Russian Стрыпа ) is a left tributary of the Dniester with a length of 147 km and a catchment area of 1610 km².
Between Buschach and Sboriw it flows through a deep gorge, which consists of numerous waterfalls. In 1915–1916 the river was the front line between the Russian and Austro-Hungarian armies .
