Stubbendorf is a district of the town of Dargun in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

geography

The place is located south of the Trebel valley about 7 km north of the city of Dargun and 8 km east of Gnoien. The Röcknitzbach runs west of the village.

history

On January 1, 1951, the previously independent communities Groß Methling and Klein Methling were incorporated. On the same day, the capital of the dissolved community Darbein was added.

Stubbendorf itself was incorporated into Dargun on June 13, 2004.
