The Studia Leibnitiana (sometimes abbreviated with the Sigle StL) are a scientific journal for philosophy and the history of science . The journal was founded in 1969 and is published on behalf of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Society . It is primarily devoted to studies on the life and work of the philosopher and polymath Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz as well as in the more general context of the history of philosophy and science from the 16th to 18th centuries. The magazine appears annually in two issues. In addition, supplements (so far 35) and special issues (so far 40) for the magazine appear in an informal sequence .
