YK Studio Fantasia ( Japanese 有限会社 ス タ ジ オ ・ フ ァ ン タ ジ ア , Yūgen-gaisha Sutajio Fantajia ) is a Japanese production studio for anime . The company was founded on October 12, 1983 by Tomohisa Iizuka ( 飯 塚 智 久 ), who previously worked at Studio Tsuchida Production .
history
The first independent work was the episode Sotsugyō Album: cream lemon Meibamenshū ( 卒業アルバムくりいむレモン名場面集) of Hentai - Anthology Shin Lemon Cream of 1987. 1988 was followed by an animation assistant at Gainax ' Gunbuster . Even after that, further collaborations with Gainax followed at Honō no Tenkōsei and Otaku no Video , both from 1991. The first own complete work was Project A-ko 3: Cinderella Rhapsody from 1988. 2001 followed with Najica, the first own television series. From 2009, apart from an OVA for Nozoki Ana (2013), the studio appeared only as a company that supported animation work but no longer managed productions. On November 16, 2016, Studio Fantasia filed for bankruptcy.
