The Studio Tamassociati is since 1996 in Venice -based office of three Italian architects .

history

The architects involved are Raul Pantaleo (born in Milan in 1962 ), Massimo Lepore (born in Udine in 1960 ) and Simone Sfriso (born in London in 1966 ). The office specializes in sustainable architecture. It is often involved in humanitarian aid projects. Her work for the Italian non-governmental organization (NGO) Emergency , which provides medical aid to civilians in war zones, is well known. Studio Tamassociati has so far had buildings for emergency medical care in countries such as Sudan , Sierra Leone , Central African Republic ,Iraq , Afghanistan and Nicaragua planned and supervised the construction.

  • 2013: Aga Khan Award for Architecture for the Salam Center for Cardiac Surgery in Khartoum , Sudan.
  • 2013: Curry Stone Design Prize
  • 2014: Zumtobel Group Award for Sustainability and Humanity in the Built Environment . Endowment € 140,000.
