The Study Beach (of English study , study, study ' ) is a beach on the south coast of Bird Iceland in the archipelago of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It's south of Landing Beach . In front of it is the Platform Reef .
Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey have named it that since they began conducting research here in 1978. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee fixed the naming in 2012.
