The four-cylinder engine with thermosiphon cooling was still installed in the front of the vehicle and powered the rear axle. The bore was slightly increased to 59 mm. In connection with the retained stroke of 80 mm, it resulted in a displacement of 875 cm³ . For tax purposes, the engine was classified as 5  Cheval fiscal . It made 21  hp .

The wheelbase had been extended to 225 cm. The track width of 106 cm (front) and 108 cm (rear) remained unchanged. The curb weight was 510 kg or 650 kg, depending on the source. The longer structure allowed three-seater structures. Are known convertible sedan , convertible and coupe . There was also a two-seater roadster . An external distinguishing feature from the predecessor was the longer front fenders that reached up to the doors.

Production ended in 1934. The successor was the Amilcar Type C 5 . These two models as well as their predecessor are sometimes referred to as the 5 CV . Between 1932 and 1934, 2,456 vehicles of these three models were built.

In 2018, Dorotheum auctioned the remains of a vehicle mistakenly named Type M for 2,300 euros .
