Angela Schwerdtfeger

Angela Schwerdtfeger (born November 6, 1980 in Northeim ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

From 2000 to 2006 she studied law at the University of Trier and the University of Lyon II . In 2006 she passed her first state examination in law in Trier . In 2010, after completing his legal preparatory service, he took the second state examination in Berlin . From 2006 to 2008 she was a research assistant in Trier at the professorship for public law, in particular foreign public law, international and international law. European law by Meinhard Schröder . After completing his doctorate in 2009 at the University of Trier for Dr. iur. Since May 2016 she has been a temporary academic advisor at the Humboldt University in Berlin at the Chair for Public Law and European Law ( Matthias Ruffert ). With her habilitation in 2017 at the Humboldt University in Berlin, she received the qualification to teach public law, European and international law. On March 1, 2020, Schwerdtfeger accepted an offer at the University of Göttingen for a W3 professorship for public law, in particular administrative law.

The legal scholar Gunther Schwerdtfeger , whose textbook on public law in case processing she has continued since the 14th edition, is her uncle.
