from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sucker magazine (official spelling: Sucker magazine ) was established in April 1995 in the Upper Palatinate , Bavaria as a fanzine for electronic music ( Techno , House and Hip-Hop founded). From 1995 to 1998 the magazine appeared in print and was published in Bavaria as well as in the neighboring areas of Austria and Thuringia. The initial circulation of the magazine was 5,000 copies, which rose to 20,000 copies by the time the print edition was discontinued in 1998.

Since June 1995 the Sucker Magazine has its own website. This has been gradually expanded over the years and, since May 2005, for the ten-year existence of the project, has offered functions for publishing blogs, photo albums and events. With the accompanying software, the sucker.dumper (for Macintosh and Windows), the members of the community can publish articles on the site independently.
