Suhasini
Suhasini (born August 15, 1961 in Parmakudi , Tamil Nadu ) is an Indian actress .
Life
Suhasini trained as a projectionist at the Madras Film Institute. In 1980 she got her first film role in Nenjathai Killathey . Suhasini quickly developed into an actor personality and often played feminist roles, as in Swati (1984) and Lawyer Suhasini (1987). She has mostly appeared in Malayalam films, often with South Indian film megastar Mammootty .
Suhasini is the niece of the Tamil film star Kamal Haasan . She has been married to the Tamil film director Mani Ratnam since 1989 .
