Kamal Haasan ( Tamil : கமல்ஹாசன், Kamalhācaṉ , Kamalhasan ; also கமலஹாசன், Kamalahācaṉ , Kamalahasan ; born November 7, 1954 in Paramakudi , Tamil Nadu ) is an Indian actor. Kamal Hassan was born as the fourth son of his parents. His brother Charu Haasan also became an actor. Despite his Brahmin upbringing, he is an atheist and follower of Periyar .
