The two-storey hipped roof house with four axes is the largest of the former canons' houses on Stiftsplatz and the only one that is free on all sides. Today it is used as a rectory . Above the entrance, which is reached through a gate, you can see the coat of arms of the builder and a Latin inscription, which translates as follows: The brothers Anton and Heinrich Norff, provost and dean of this church, built this house . The Latin chronogram gives the year 1706.
Inside, the Cologne ceilings are present on both floors . The railings of the wooden stairs are decorated with carved acanthus tendrils.
A figure of James by Bert Gerresheim has stood in front of the rectory since 2003 .
