Suited ( [s (j) utɪd] ; German  suitable ) is an expression from the card game poker . It means that at least two of a player's hole cards are of the same suit . If the cards are not of the same suit, one speaks of off-suited .

The advantage of suited cards is that the chance of a flush rises, as only three cards of color are needed for just this.

If the cards are also of consecutive value, one speaks of suited connectors .
