Sujitra Ekmongkolpaisarn

Sujitra Ekmongkolpaisarn ( Thai : สุ จิตรา เอก มงคล ไพศาล ; born June 17, 1977 in Bangkok ) is a former Thai badminton player .

Athletic career

In 2000, Sujitra Ekmongkolpaisarn started in the women's singles and doubles at the Olympics. She competed in doubles with Saralee Thungthongkam and finished ninth. In the individual it was only enough to place 33.

She won nationally for the first time at the Thai championships in 1998 in women's singles, four more singles titles followed in series until 2002. In women's doubles, she won her only title in 1999 with Saralee Thungthongkam .

In 1998 she won bronze at the Asian Games, in 2001 she won the Hong Kong Open. At the Indonesia Open 2002 she was defeated in the final of the women's doubles and at the 1999 World Cup was the last sixteen.
