The Sulfur Creek Reservoir , also called Laguna Niguel Lake , is an artificial lake in California . It is located in Orange County and covers an area of 18 acres . The height above sea level is 58 meters. The reservoir was set up in 1966 and has been used for fishing, water extraction and leisure activities such as boat rental ever since. There is therefore a high number of tourists, especially during the holiday season and in summer. Orange County is also the client for the construction of the artificial body of water and entrusted with its management.
