Sunao Wada ( Japanese 和田 直 , Wada Sunao ; born January 13, 1934 ) is a Japanese blues and jazz guitarist .

Sunao Wada presented a number of LPs on the Three Blind Mice label in the 1970s , including Coco's Blues (1972), Blues World (1974), Blues for Bird , Four Scenes (1976) and Blues Blues Blues (1977), the he recorded in a quartet to sextet line-up with musicians such as Kunji Nobutaka , Kenji Mori , Takehiro Honda , Masaru Imada , Ushio Sakai , Mitsuaki Furuno , Isao Suzuki , Tetsujiro Obara and Arihide Kurata . His music ranged stylistically from Chicago blues to modern jazz , especially soul jazz . In the field of jazz, he was involved in six recording sessions between 1972 and 1977. In Nagoya he played in later years a. a. with Tomonao Hara .
