Sunay Erdem
Sunay Erdem (born March 17, 1971 in Shumen , Bulgaria ) is a Turkish landscape architect and architect.
Life
Erdem was born in Bulgaria in 1971 and immigrated to Turkey in 1989. In 1995 he obtained a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Ankara University . In 1998 he founded an architecture office together with his brother Günay Erdem. The office now has branches in Ankara, Istanbul and New York.
Awards
Erdem designed urban development projects in more than 40 countries. He won the Turkish Architecture Prize in the “Presentation of Ideas” category (2010). He also won the Turkish Landscape Architecture Prize in 2009, 2010 and 2013, which is awarded by the Chamber of Landscape Architects of Turkey.
