The Husky Pass is a mountain pass in the Bowers Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the Lanterman Range and the Molar Massif and leads from the origins of the Sledgers Glacier and an unnamed subsidiary glacier to the Leap Year Glacier .
It was named by participants in a campaign carried out from 1963 to 1964 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition in memory of the achievements of the sled dog teams in overcoming the watershed between the Rennick and Lillie glaciers during this research trip .
