Sunita Mani

Sunita Mani (born before 1990 in the USA ) is an American actress , dancer and comedian . She is best known for her role as Trenton on the television series Mr. Robot .

life and career

Mani was born in the USA. She attended Emerson College in Boston, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in creative writing , literature and publishing . During her studies Mani started her career as a stand-up comedian . After graduating in 2008, she joined the Upright Citizens Brigade , a comedy group similar to improvisational theater , where she completed a three-year course in improvised comedy. During this time she worked on the side for the Creative Outlet Dance Theater in Brooklyn, the Cognac Live Radio Orchestra , MTV Networks and as an ice cream truck driver.

Mani then joined the Cocoon Central Dance Team, where she worked as a dancer and choreographer. She began her acting career with roles on Writer's Block , an MTV web series, and in commercials for Burger King and Levi Strauss & Co.

She gained greater fame through an appearance in the music video for the song Turn Down for What by DJ Snake and Lil Jon .

From 2015 she played the role of Trenton in the television series Mr. Robot in a total of 15 episodes .

In 2016 she was cast for the Netflix series GLOW . The first season was released in June 2017.
