Sunnybrook State Park is a state park in the US state of Connecticut in the area of the municipality of Torrington . The park offers hiking, fishing, hunting and picnicking along the East Branch Naugatuck River .
geography
The park mainly includes a flood retention basin. In his area is the southwest end of the blue-blazed John Muir Trail which also crosses the Paugnut State Forest and connects to the Burr Pond State Park . The hills to the west of the park rise to 1,220 ft (372 m) above sea level .
