Superjednostka ( Polish , "super unit") is one of the largest residential buildings in Poland . It is in Katowice , Silesian Voivodeship at Aleja Wojciecha Korfantego 16–32. The architecture of the building, designed by Mieczysław Król and built between 1967 and 1972, is based on Le Corbusier's Unité d'Habitation . The building has the status of an independent settlement.

The block of flats was planned as an architectural counterweight to the circular multi-purpose hall Spodek ("Saucer") located to the northwest, on the other side of the large roundabout ( rondo Ziętka ) , which had been under construction since 1964. With an area of 9,817 m² and a length of 187 m, it contains 762 apartments, 17 shops and 175 underground parking spaces. There are nine entrances, three of which are main entrances. About 1300 people live in the building. The small apartments with windowless kitchens were intended for childless couples and single people.

The facade of the building was repaired from April 2009 to summer 2010.
