Supreme yes

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Supreme.ja (born March 22, 1973 in Munich , actually Gotthard Ortner ) is a musician , electronic music and the Düsseldorf school.

Life

Gutthard Ortner began to be interested in electronic music at an early age. Luke Skyywalker (Luther Campbell) from the 2 Live Crew in particular was a big influence at the beginning. Ortner began to produce his own music in 1988 with a Korg drum machine , two turntables and a Yamaha DX-7 . In 1991 he opened his home studio and started producing electronic bass.

Originally, Supreme.ja was founded in 1996 by him and Mark Deininger (Kosmothority / Kosmo Musik) in Munich. Due to the open structures, guest musicians ( e.g. ED DMX , Lou Bega , Charles Ladmiral , etc.) are often invited to various projects in order to unite the different views of general music. After Deininger left, Ortner used the pseudonym alone. Other names he used for his numerous projects are and are Drop Man ( Techno ), Hydrotoxic ( Bass Music ), Planet 808 ( Freestyle ), DCT97 ( Miami Bass ) and Control (Techno / Trance ).
