Susan A. Yap-Sulit is a Filipino politician of the Lakas Democracy Cong Kristiyano at Muslim (Lakas-Kampi) and currently the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC), which has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2010 .

Life

Susan Yap is the daughter of the politician Jose "Aping" Villa Agustin Yap, Sr. , who was a member of the House of Representatives from 1965 to 1972, 1987 to 1998 and most recently from 2007 until his death on March 2, 2010, and from 1998 to 2007 Governor the province of Tarlac was. After attending school, she began studying linguistics at the University of the Philippines , which she completed in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts (AB Linguistics). In the election she received 124,190 votes (63.78 percent).
