Susanna Heikari (born April 8, 1977 in Salo ) is a former Finnish soccer player .

Life

Career

Heikari started her career at FC Tikkurila and moved to Malmin Palloseura in January 1997. She then joined HJK Helsinki and in 1999 moved to the United States to study at the University of Portland . After her return from the USA in spring 2000, Heikari signed again with the HJK Helsinki and won the Finnish championship and the Finnish Cup four times with the team. On February 15, 2010, she left her Finnish homeland and moved to FC Zurich Women .

International

Heikari played 44 games for the Finnish national soccer team from 1994 to 2002, scoring eight goals.

Private

Heikari has lived in Helsinki again with her two children and life partner since she retired.
