Susanne Sue Glanzner (born March 21, 1977 in Dettelbach , Lower Franconia ) is a German writer and fashion designer .

Life

Glanzner lives and works in Stuttgart . Among other things, she studied fashion design here, worked as a designer for Tom Tailor Leatherwear and Maze and then spent some time abroad. She returned to Stuttgart and worked for three years at Egmont Horizont Kinderbuchverlag . After the publishing house closed, she founded the children's fashion label punKiz in 2009 and began to write children's book reviews on the side. For this she worked with many large children's book publishers.

During a TV recording by SWR she met Alexandra Reinwarth with whom she published her first two literary works, the Chick Code and its successor Why Bros Don't Get Married and Chicks Always Have Cold Feet , in November 2011 and March 2012 at riva Verlag . Overall, the Chick Code was on the Spiegel bestseller list for four weeks and was also sold as a Czech licensed edition. After this success she wrote the chic blog for sixx.de together with Alexandra Reinwarth on behalf of Pro7.

Her first children's book, Anna Apfelkuchen , was published by Thienemann-Esslinger Verlag in July 2014 and has already had several editions. The accompanying audio book followed in the spring of 2015, as did her first youth novel The Amulet of Eternity , which she wrote with Björn Springorum . The follow-up children's book, Käpt'n Pillow , was published in October 2015 as a print version and an audio book. Her first fiction novel , Glücksdefekt , was published as an e-book by Weltbild in October 2014 .
