Susanne Kühn

Susanne Kühn (* 1969 in Leipzig ) is a contemporary German painter.

Career

Susanne Kühn studied painting and graphics from 1990 to 1995 at the University of Graphic and Book Art in Leipzig (HGB) under Sighard Gille . From 1995 to 1998 she lived in New York and continued her studies with a postgraduate scholarship from the DAAD from 1995 to 1996 at the School of Visual Arts and at Hunter College . In 1998 she moved to Boston and was awarded a Radcliffe Fellowship from Harvard University (2001–2002). Susanne Kühn has lived and worked in Freiburg im Breisgau since 2002.

In 2015 the artist took over a professorship for painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg .
