Susi Wallner (married Kränzl , pseudonym: Leonore Weismann ), (born March 3, 1868 in St. Leonhard near Freistadt , † April 22, 1944 in Linz ) was an Austrian writer and local poet.

Life

Susi Wallner was born on March 3, 1868 in St. Leonhard near Freistadt . She lived in Kremsmünster until 1872 , then moved to Linz and in 1919 married the councilor Emil Kränzl. She was an employee of the Linzer Tages-Post and the Wiener Volkszeitung. Susi Wallner published over 1000 stories, stories, fairy tales, sagas and sketches in the feature pages of various newspapers.

She died in Linz on April 22, 1944 and was buried in a grave of honor at the St. Barbara cemetery . Wallnerstrasse in Linz and Susi-Wallner-Warte in St. Leonhard near Freistadt are named after her.
