The Suzhou Zhongnan Center ( Chinese 苏州 中南 中心 ) is a skyscraper under construction in Suzhou near Shanghai in the Chinese province of Jiangsu , which is expected to reach a height of 499 m. Originally it should have a height of 729 m. This would have made the building the third tallest in the world. The Suzhou Zhongnan Center is located in downtown Suzhou, west of Lake Jinji . The building and the surrounding plaza will be part of a large urban development project, the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP).
