Suziann Reid
Suziann Reid (born January 14, 1977 in Kingston ) is a former American sprinter of Jamaican origin.
The junior runner-up in the 400-meter race in 1996 celebrated the greatest success of her career in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville . Together with Maicel Malone-Wallace , Michelle Collins and Jearl Miles Clark , she won the silver medal behind the Russian and ahead of the German team. Reid also started over 400 m in Seville and reached the semi-finals.
At the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton , she started again in the relay. She cost the US team the gold medal that was already believed to be safe when she dropped the baton as the last runner. She lost her big lead and finally reached the goal in fourth.
Suziann Reid is 1.67 m tall and had a competition weight of 62 kg.
