The Suzuki Concept Kizashi is a concept vehicle from the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki , which was presented to the world for the first time at the IAA 2007 in Frankfurt am Main .

The aim of the Suzuki brand is to expand its range of models to the middle class with the Kizashi. So far, Suzuki has only produced vehicles such as small cars , 2BOX 's, SUVs and compact sedans in the lower middle class.

The Concept Kizashi presented in 2007 is 4.65 meters long and 1.95 meters wide and 1.40 meters high. The design is also characterized by large 255/30 R21 tires. A newly developed 2.0-liter TDI engine is being planned for the drive. A hybrid version is to be offered as an option. During the course of production, Suzuki wants to develop its engines so that the Kizashi, located in the D segment , has one of the lowest CO 2 emissions in this vehicle class . An intelligent 4x4 drive, which will also be used for the first time in the Kizashi, serves as the drive system supporting the driver.

The Suzuki Kizashi series model , a model derived from the Concept Kizashi, was launched by Suzuki in the USA at the end of 2009.
