Sven-Gunnar Larsson

Sven-Gunnar Larsson (born May 10, 1940 ) is a former Swedish national football player .

career

Larsson started his career at the lower class IF Saab . He made his debut on August 26, 1962 for Örebro SK in a 4-3 win against IF Elfsborg in the Allsvenskan . By the end of his career in 1975, the goalkeeper was on the field 274 times in the first division.

Larsson has been the Swedish national team 27 times . He made his debut against Norway in October 1965 . With the national team he took part in the world championships in 1970 and 1974 . At the 1970 tournament he was used twice, in 1974 he was only a substitute for Ronnie Hellström .

After retiring, he worked as a goalkeeping coach for his home club for 15 years.
