Sven Friberg

Sven Richard Friberg (born February 7, 1895 in Lysekil , † May 26, 1964 in Gothenburg ) was a Swedish football player .

career

Friberg played for Örgryte IS . With the club he was first twice in the Allsvenskan . At the time, however, the Swedish championship title was not officially awarded.

Friberg played 41 international games for Sweden between 1915 and 1926. With the national selection, he took part in the 1924 Olympic Games . At the tournament he won the bronze medal with the team by a 3-1 win in the replay against the Netherlands .
