Sven Goebel (born November 8, 1988 in Simmerath ) became known for his world records in stacking beer mats .

World records

He started his career in 2003 with his first Guinness world record.

2003

Finished tower from 2003

After the official registration of the world record, in August 2003 Sven Goebel stacked a total of 7,000 beer mats within 10 hours in his grandmother's winter garden to form a 4 meter high and 1 meter wide tower. This had to be destroyed under witnesses on the last day in order to exclude the use of glue. After the witnesses at the time, Hans Kaiser (mayor of the municipality of Kall ), Hajo Hellig (pastor of the municipality of Kall) and Hans Ransbach (master brewer of the sponsor of the Gemünder beer brewery) described the record as having been carried out correctly, it was recognized as a record and Sven Goebel was able to made its first entry in the Book of Records.

2004

Finished castle from 2004

In August 2004, Sven Goebel stacked a second world record. As a high school student, he was tied to the summer vacation time to plan and execute the project. 70,000 beer coasters formed a castle model (4 meters high, 5 meters wide) in a total of 102 hours. Witnesses were Hans Kaiser, Günther Rosenke and Hajo Hellwig.

2009

Finished object from 2009

Maximum stacking record for Galileo . Together with two amateur forklifts from Munich, Goebel erected a 6.50 meter high beer mat tower made of more than 60,000 beer mats.

2010

From January to April 2010 Goebel accepted the offer from the Gaffel Kölsch brewery and again stacked several thousand beer coasters to form a building. There was a live stream that could be viewed online. This year, a complete 3D animation of the building was also created in advance, which was useful in both planning and implementation. The goal of 250,000 beer coasters was exceeded and the beer mat bungalow was finally filled with furniture made from beer coasters. In total, around 260,000 beer mats were built into a bungalow including furniture (6 meters wide, 11 meters long, 2.2 meters high) in 552 hours. Witnesses were Herbert Radermacher, Ralf Hergarten and Günther Rosenke.
