Sven Hotz

Sven Hotz (born October 12, 1929 ) is a Swiss entrepreneur . He was also president and patron of the Swiss football club FC Zurich .

Hotz became a member of FC Zurich at the age of twelve. For more than 20 years he was president and patron of the association, in which he invested several million francs. He earns his money with his property management. His commitment to FC Zurich was crowned by the Swiss Cup victory ( 2005 ) and the championship title ( 2006 ) - the first in the Hotz era.

Sven Hotz announced in 2004 that he would step down as President of FC Zurich in 2006 . At the General Assembly on December 11, 2006, he resigned from his position. His successor in the office of President of the FCZ was Ancillo Canepa . On December 9, 2006, Sven Hotz was bid farewell to the championship match between FC Zurich and FC Sion in front of 11,600 spectators in the Hardturm Stadium .
