Sven Olsson

Sven "Bleddy" Olsson (born October 3, 1889 , † May 19, 1919 ) was a Swedish football player .

career

Olsson played for Örgryte IS . With the club he was several times Swedish champion.

On July 12, 1908, Olsson was part of the selection of Sweden , which played their first international match. At home in Balders Hage , the Norwegian national football team was defeated 11: 3. In the same year he took part in the Olympic Games in London, where the team failed at the tournament favorites, the English amateur national team . Olsson played the Swedish national team's first seven internationals, making it a record international player.
