Sven Stojanović

Sven Nikola Stojanović (born November 14, 1969 in Örebro ) is a Swedish director of Serbian and Croatian descent. He mainly directs productions for Swedish television.
Stojanović mostly stages the annual Fotbollsgalan (football gala), the Grammisgalan (awarding of the Swedish music awards), the Guldbaggegalan (awarding of the Swedish film awards), and the Idrottsgalan (election for athlete of the year). In 2006 he directed the first HD TV production in Sweden.
After gaining a lot of experience in staging the Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest ( Melodifestivalen ), he was also entrusted with directing the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 , 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2008 and 2016 .
