Sven Strüver (born August 9, 1967 in Bremen ) is a German professional golfer on the European Tour .

biography

Strüver started his professional career in 1990 and joined the European Tour in 1992. Just one year later, Strüver achieved his best placement in the money list with an impressive 13th place. He has won a total of three tournaments, but has been weak in the last few seasons and currently only has a limited right to play on the big tour.

Since spring 2010, Strüver has been training to become a PGA Teaching Professional at the Teutoburger Wald Golf Club in Halle (Westphalia) . His instructor was Graham Clark. He passed his PGA Playing Ability Test in mid-2010.

Strüver represented his country seven times in the World Cup and six times in the Dunhill Cup .

He has been married to Stephanie Strüver since 1996, has two children and a residence in Orlando , Florida .
