Svetlana Telbukh

Svetlana Telbukh ( Ukrainian Светлана Тельбух Swetlana Telbuch ; * 1984 in Ukraine ) is a Ukrainian sand painter and artist.

Life

After training as an architect at the Academy of Architecture in Kharkiv , she turned to sand painting. During an appearance on the casting show Das Supertalent , she drew her first pictures in sand, which became known nationwide. She speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English and is learning German. She currently lives near Hamburg and is planning to move to Lübeck .

International fame

S. Telbukh appeared on October 3, 2019 on the Day of German Unity , at the live broadcast festival from Kiel (Schleswig-Holstein) on ZDF , and thus achieved fame beyond the national borders of Germany as her sketch of the history of the first divided and later reunified Germany on a large screen in front of several thousand visitors.
