Eiso

Eiso ( Japanese 永祚 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from September 989 to November 990 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Eien , the following era is called Shōryaku . The era falls during the reign of the Emperor ( Tennō ) Ichijō .

The first day of the Eiso era corresponds to September 10, 989, and the last day was November 25, 990. The Eiso era lasted two years or 442 days.
